Handling image onclick event using jQuery and ASP repeater

I have a repeater that includes, among other things, a text box and an image next to it. When the user enters text and clicks on the image, I want to open a modal popup. This is for the user entering some user's last name and on image click, I search AD based on the last name and present the user with a list of AD users found and ask to select one.I tried different methods of catching the click event but none worked. This I what I have tried (I am including both HTML image and ASP image so as not to repeat the code, but there is only one image):<asp:Repeater runat="server...

Rails::ActiveRecord preserve auto_increment id in deep copy duplicate

I need to create a temporary array containing model objects to manipulate. I need the auto_increment primary key but I do not want the associations kept because when I remove the object from the array it removes it from the database as well (thanks rails, pretty inconvenient). The deep copies I create using object.dup have the id's marked as nil. How do I keep them in the copy? dup describes this behaviour: Duped objects have no id assigned and are treated as new records. The dup method does not preserve the timestamps (created|updated)_(at|on).It does that because p...

AVPlayer won't play audio despite no errors

In an iOS app of mine, I have a custom audio player class that creates an underlying AVPlayer with URL-based audio assets. It's all very vanilla - load an AVPlayerItem based on the URL, load the asset data asynchronously, then use it to create an AVPlayer instance.Everything works great, but I just discovered a case where the AVPlayer loads the audio asset and parses it correctly, but refuses to play any audio. This happens when I have started a couple of games before launching the app. E.g. Minecraft and Monument valley. There is no fail-proof way to reproduce this (sometim...

Need help to understand. I can't totally control the transition property

Here is the deal. I'm trying to create a mobile first navigation bar using css3, html5 and transition properties. I've been successful so far but I am unable to control the transition for when I resize the window (using media queries min-width) from desktop view to mobile view. I've add a Toggle button in the mobile view to create a burger menu that disappears at 600px and vice versa. when the button is unchecked (menu not visible) and I resize the view from desktop to mobile there is a very fast transition that I don't want. I've tried so far so many variants and nothing s...

Does Assembly understand numbers that are not hexadecimal?

If my question sound nonsensical, pardon me.But I am quite confused, say I am defining the constant buffer_sizethere is a line on the code that I am studying which says: buffer_size equ 16, which in my mind means, make buffer_size 16 big. But in other code samples that I review, numbers do have the character h beside them, which I'm told is to tell the assembler to treat the number as hexadecimal. If a number doesn't have the h beside it, does it make it decimal then? Yes, MASM (and pretty much all other modern assemblers1) are like C/C++: numeric literals are decimal by ...

ICL, OS X.4/5 and Unix compliance ($UNIX2003)

I'm trying to compile a Mac version of our lib for a customer that wants to include it in a Photoshop plugin, and he is having trouble linking our lib into his app. More detailed info: His plugin is built against the CS4 Photoshop SDK, which means the Mac OS base SDK should be 10.4. My lib is a static one, compiled with the Intel compiler 11.1 and the base SDK is also set as 10.4.I tested my lib against a small test app I wrote, and it compiles and works fine (on 10.5). To replicate my customer's environment, the app is compiled with gcc, and uses the 10.4 base SDK. While i...

Is there a tool to capture an objects state to disk?

What I would like to do is capture an object that's in memory to disk for testing purposes. Since it takes many steps to get to this state, I would like to capture it once and skip the steps.I realize that I could mock these objects up manually but I'd rather "record" and "replay" real objects because I think this would be faster.Edit: The question is regarding this entire process, not just the serialization of the object (also file operations) and my hope that a tool exists to do this process on standard objects. I am interested in Actionscript specifically for this is app...

QueueTriggerAttribute Missing

I have created an Azure function using the 3.0.0-beta8 version of the Microsoft.Azure.Functions, Microsoft.Azure.Functions.Core and the Microsoft.Azure.WebJobs.Extensions NuGet packages, and it does not resolve the QueueTriggerAttribute package - has this been deprecated / moved to a new library? It is not immediately apparent what I install to use this trigger in an Azure Function. You have met the breaking change in new function runtime. The Azure Storage bindings (blob, queues and tables triggers and bindings) were previously part of the runtime, but moving forward,...

Example of writing byte array of different size sequentially to a blob in Windows Azure

I've been trying to find a good example on this but I must be searching for the wrong things. Here's what I wish to do:One process writes byte arrays of different size to a blob sequentially (no need for any concurrency checks or anything like that). Each byte array is committed to the blob at each writeOther processes reads from the blob from starting at different positions but reads sequentially after thatBasically what I'm trying to describe is a transaction log. Any links to good resources or code samples to do this? Brent Stineman has an interesting technique which h...

How can I add a button on top of a UIPageViewController?

How do I get a number to render in my UI with a space after every 4 characters?

I have a 16 digit property that comes back for example(1234123412341234). I would like it to render on my UI with a space every 4 number characters for example(1234 1234 1234 1234). I'm using Angular JS so I'm looking for a way to accomplish this. I'm pretty sure it's either a custom Angular filter or regex related, but my knowledge of either and how to implement it is limited. AngularJS filter is easy to setup. Just accept one parameter and apply any JS formatting on it. Here is a working example:var app = angular.module('myApp', []);app.filter('myFilter', function() { ...
