adding image on a panel

uhhmm. ive been finding ways on adding images(Image object) on a panel. Basically, what i want to do is to create a page - a panel with moving objects (animation using sprites). but i can't. everytime i try to add the images to the panel, the screen goes on like "blinking". anyone can help me with this? I need this ASAP.. thanks in advance. :) Just a wild guess here, but it sounds like the ubiquitous vertical sync problem experienced in any animated graphical endeavour. In some languages you have to engage a 'double buffer' to correct this. Your panel might have such a p...

Are there multiple LDTs?

The following Wikibooks page states: The GDT contains pointers to each LDT.I'm currently learning about segmentation, and this implies that there are multiple LDTs. As far as I can tell there is only one: multiple references I've read refer to "the LDT", implying there is only one. Is the referenced page correct in its implication? Did it mean "LDT entry"? While the lgdt instruction - used to set up the GDT - takes a m16&32/64 as an operand - the lldt instruction takes a r/m16 operand. Deciphering the jargon this means that lgdt takes a pointer to a structure holdi...

Xamarin Forms IPA generation on Jenkins

I'm having some trouble to generate an IPA for my Xamarin Forms iOS project on Jenkins. I follow the documentation (http://developer.xamarin.com/guides/cross-platform/ci/jenkins_walkthrough/) and post a question on the xamarin forums for my problem, but it's really difficult to have an answer there so i'll try here.I'm able to build the application with mdtool but there isn't any IPA file in my project after the end of Jenkins' job.I see some discussion on the forum that tell to use the archive method instead of the build for mdtool. But that didn't change anything either.I...

JavaScript - Accessing a child variable in a parent class

In JavasScript, is it possible to define a variable in a child class, then access it in a parent class? I imagine the child class would look something like this:export default class ChildClass extends ParentClass { constructor() { this.path = 'register'; }}A use-case scenario is an HTTP service class as the parent that contains general, reusable methods and a child class that defines the exact route that will be accessed. Assuming it's possible, how could I then access this.path in the parent class? You don't need to do anything special, it just works. As men...
