[SOLVED] Umbraco 7.3.4 - Custom Data Type Value Doesn't Change

I have created a custom data type to deal with character limits on text areas.

I have previously been following a demo where $ = "Hello World" before the user started typing in the text area.

I have since deleted this so it should have removed this text from the umbraco content interface.

But it is still showing the "Hello World" On the right side of the text box.

Customer Editor Angular Controller:

angular.module("umbraco").controller("My.CustomEditorController", function

    ($scope, notificationsService) {
        $ = "";

        $scope.limitChars = function () {
            var limit = parseInt($scope.model.config.limit);

            if ($scope.model.value.length > limit) {
                $ = "You cannot write more than " + limit + " characters!";
                $scope.model.value = $scope.model.value.substr(0, limit);

            else {
                $ = "You have " + (limit - $scope.model.value.length) + " characters left.";

have you tried to increment the version in the config/ClientDependency.config? seems like a caching issue on some level – Eyescream

Azure Umbraco Web Site down after azure restore

Error running Reader: SQL Statement:SELECT id, domainName FROM umbracoDomains ORDER BY idI performed an Azure restore of my umbraco website which is using the umbraco.sdf file in the App_Data folder. After the restore I have this error. It errors when I try to log into the Umbraco backend. The Umrbaco.sdf file is only 64KB is that normal? It seems like Azure deleted some of the tables from the .sdf file on restore? In the meantime my site is down and there's no hope in retrieving all my data in my db. Help please! As far as I know, restoring the web app would replace you...

Umbraco Forms image upload to media picker

I've read on that the Umbraco Forms' "file upload" can be used to upload images that can then be used by the media picker.I've created a workflow which creates an Umbraco document, and I mapped the file upload to the document type's media picker and all the other properties are of course mapped as well.Whenever I submit the form, it creates the unpublished node as it should, and it maps all the properties EXCEPT the media picker. I can't figure out why...I'm on Umbraco version: 7.3.7.Thank you in advance. This is an old question but just for the records. ...
